Message from the Pastor

We recently began an ambitious construction project to enlarge our Fellowship Hall and kitchen as well as to make our building more accessible and friendly for those who have mobility issues.  Follow the progress of construction by clicking on "Pastor's Blog" at the top of this page and see the changes taking place.

A dedication luncheon and service was held on the afternoon of Sunday, February 12.  A festive crowd of 168 comfortably filled the new space while the new kitchen was fired up and showed off its capabilities.

As you can see from these photos taken by Greg Birch, a joyous party was held.  Corey Schlosser-Hall, Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of North Puget Sound, presented a painting to the congregation.  The Chancel Choir, under the direction of Beverly Brown, did several numbers.  Gary McRoberts sang "The Touch of the Master's Hand" and was part of the "One in the Spirit" quartet along with Valerie McRoberts, Sharon Bowman, and Shawn Dawson.  The theme of the dedication service itself was that the building be used to the glory of God and for the benefit of the Church's mission to the community.  While there are a few little details left to be finished, the project is complete.  We are grateful to all who made it possible and particularly to God who guided us as we were "Growing in Faith - Expanding Our Fellowship."
